About
the Calendars
Why is the
Thinkbin Calendar the perfect calendar for
families?
A wall calendar is the best way to coordinate the activities and obligations of a busy family. Wall calendars are a "communication hub" where the entire family can view schedules quickly and easily. The easy to read "time of day" format of Thinkbin Family Calendars allow families to view each day's schedule in one large, organized block - offering more room than any other family calendar to record after school activities and evening events. Thinkbin's unique layout allows families to easily spot when they are overschduled or have free time.
Why does the Thinkbin
calendar start with August?
The answer is very simple. The 17-month format, beginning with August, allows for flexibility. In most cases, the lives of parents with school-aged children revolve around the school year (from August of one calendar year through July of the next). Starting a new calendar each year in August allows parents to get organized for an entire school year at once. No more juggling two calendars in December!
On the other hand, there are people who prefer to use a calendar that begins in January and runs through December of the same year - what we like to call the “traditional year”. Our calendar accommodates them as well.
Used either way, the Thinkbin Family Calendar is the perfect tool to help keep families on top of things!
Does the Thinkbin Calendar come in more than one size?
Yes! The Thinkbin Family Calendar is a wall calendar available in two sizes to accommodate a variety of needs. The Deluxe Large calendar (17” x 24” opened) has nine lines per day to track even the busiest family’s schedule. The Compact Size calendar (11.5” x 18” opened) will fit inside a kitchen cabinet or on the door of a side by side refrigerator.
What kind of paper is the calendar printed on?
The calendar pages are printed on an uncoated heavy white paper that works well whether recording activities using pencil or pen. We recommend using pencil which can be easily erased when schedules change.
About
Fundraisers
How does the Thinkbin
fund raising program work?
We are veteran school fund raising chair
people ourselves, so we know how important
it is that any fund raiser you run be simple
and risk free. We have designed our program
to be just that. There are no minimum order
requirements or up front costs. You just
distribute order forms, that we provide,
to your students and staff. Once you have
collected all your orders and payments,
you keep the school’s profit and pay
us the difference.
We ship as soon
as we receive your order and payment. It’s
that easy!
Why should schools sell
the Thinkbin calendar?
Our fund raising customers tell us the number
one reason they choose to run a Thinkbin
Calendar sale is because they want to offer
their families a product they really need.
Families appreciate the opportunity to buy
something useful while, at the same time,
supporting their school.
When is the best time
to run a Thinkbin Calendar sale?
The Thinkbin Family Calendar can be sold either in the spring or fall. In the spring, families are offered the opportunity to purchase calendars for the upcoming school year, i.e. schools running a Spring 2007 sale are selling the 2007/2008 Thinkbin Family Calendar. Families receive their calendar before summer and have a head start getting organized for a new school year.
In the fall, families purchase calendars that will help them get organized for the school year that has just begun (also the 2007/2008 calendar). Order forms are distributed through summer mailings, first day of school packets and/or at back-to-school nights so that your total order can be placed as early in the school year as possible. We offer a quick turnaround so families can start using their calendars right away. We’d be happy to discuss your options.
